The novel Killing Mr. Griffin ,by Lois Duncan, is a great book for the younger generation even though it is on the banned books list for South Carolina. The reason i think it is banned is because of bad language and also it has some ideas from the characters of killing somebody.
I think they banned it because they didn’t want kids to get ideas to kill their teacher. The book is about kids who really hate their teacher and one day they get the idea to kill him. In my opinion, I don’t think that is should be banned, but it can put bad ideas in the wrong kids head. In the book, Mr. Griffin is the mean teacher that everyone hates, if someone related to the book they could get the wrong idea. This is the information that I have gathered from this book so far.
